A book is good company. It is full of conversation without loquacity. It comes to your longing with full instruction, but pursues you never.

Avon the snail is looking for adventure. He is joined by Edward the ant, who quickly becomes his best friend. Together, they set off for the time of their lives.

I really liked this book. It is written in a style that is very similar to the Winnie the Pooh books. There are lots of absurd situations and dialog. It is a "chapter book", but it has lots of pleasant illustrations. It made me smile a lot, and I even laughed out loud a couple times. This short, easy to read book was very enjoyable!
