John Darragh is a fourteen-year-old spy for General Washington during the American Revolution. But Philadelphia in 1777 is not a safe place for a spy. If he ever got caught , he would be hanged!

This short story, based on a the real life of a famous spy family, is easy to read but suspenseful anyway. Find out how they got secret messages to General Washington and what happens to John after he gets "caught".
